Rashmi Uppal

Hailing from the vibrant culture of Delhi, Rashmi Uppal embarked on her journey in the world of arts from a tender age. Rashmi’s early years were nurtured under the tutelage of Shrimati Bharati Gupta at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi.

Balancing academics and artistry, she excelled in her studies, earning admission to the prestigious Hansraj College, where she pursued her Bachelor’s in Science before furthering her education with a Master’s degree from Delhi University. Yet, her passion for dance remained steadfast, urging her to immerse herself fully into its realm. After a brief stint into the corporate world, she realized that her heart yearned for the stage, and so she took the leap to pursue her dreams wholeheartedly.

"Art catalyzes imagination, creativity and cooperation in any culture and the artists of our time take unconventional pathways to unlearn and create art forms that let us see, sense, question and think."

-Rashmi Uppal
