The “Ashtanayikas” have been recurrent favourites since classical times.These categories take into account the different situation the nayika may find herself in, the gamut of emotions she may experience and her response to her various romantic dispositions.However these are not mere literary conceptualizations estranged from human context. Rather it draws from an enormous range of human emotions.The production is divided into 3 parts.In this production the myriad moods of nayika are entwined in music, dance and poetry.
